Dania Connect is now looking for a Transport Manager for our operational activities in Helsingborg. The role is a key part of the production process and involves responsibility for planning, executing, and following up on transports in accordance with established requirements for quality, safety, and the environment.

Work is carried out in close collaboration between production, customers, and suppliers, with a focus on quality, environmental consideration, and stable delivery performance.

About the role

As a Transport Manager, you are responsible for daily transport management within your assigned area. A large part of the day consists of planning transports, maintaining ongoing contact with drivers, and quickly handling changes in production. You ensure that transports are planned and executed according to current agreements, instructions, and internal routines.

The role also involves handling and following up on deviations, as well as actively contributing to continuous improvement work within production, quality, and the environment.

Your responsibilities include:

• Plan, lead, and optimize transports in daily production – with a focus on efficiency, quality, and delivery precision
• Work proactively in the TMS (Hogia Mobilast) with registration, pricing, and administration of bookings
• Be the hub of the daily flow through close dialogue with drivers, contracted carriers, and partners
• Quickly identify, handle, and follow up on deviations to ensure stable and reliable production
• Be responsible for follow-up, settlement, and invoicing related to transport assignments
• Contribute to the development and improvement of our working methods – your input makes a difference in how we move forward

Qualifications and personal attributes

We are looking for someone with an interest in transport management or a similar operational role who wishes to develop together with us. No prior experience is required, but experience from similar work is meritorious. You have good system competence, preferably experience with Hogia Mobilast, as well as basic knowledge of Excel. If you also have a logistics education or equivalent experience, we view this as a plus, as do good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are structured, detail-oriented, and responsible, with a strong commitment to quality in your work. You thrive in collaboration with others but are also confident in working independently and taking initiative within given frameworks. We place great importance on your personality and would appreciate that you contribute energy, drive, and a positive attitude to the team.
