About the role

We are now looking for driven, responsible, and experienced warehouse staff for one of our leading clients in cold and frozen storage in Åstorp. Here you will have the opportunity to become an important part of the operations and work in a long-term assignment with good development opportunities.

The work takes place in a cold and frozen environment, which requires that you enjoy working in low temperatures. A large part of the operations consists of handling meat products, both fresh and frozen, which means you need to be comfortable working in environments where meat and blood are present.

You will be part of a small team where collaboration, responsibility, and initiative are highly valued. For the right person, there is also the possibility to develop into a team leader role in the long run.

Working hours are scheduled from 15:45 to 00:45, Monday to Friday, but day shifts may also occur - 07:00 to 16:00. Weekend work may also occur during periods with higher volumes.

Responsibilities

• Driving forklifts (A-truck as well as B3/B5)
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Arrival registration
• Put-away
• Picking and packing
• Pallet turning
• Shrink wrapping
• Thawing and defrosting of meat

Profile & Background

Requirements:

• Experience from warehouse and logistics
• Forklift license
• Driver's license and car
• Has experience working in a team
• Has the right attitude, is willing to work and flexible
• Enjoys working in cold environments and at a pace that requires focus and structure

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with B3 or B5
• Experience working in cold and frozen environments
• Experience handling food products
• Familiarity with the WMS system On Going
