Our client is an established staffing company within the construction, civil engineering, and installation industries. Founded in 2000, the company has grown to become one of Sweden's largest players in construction staffing, with operations nationwide and continued expansion plans in the Nordic region.

Location: Stockholm. The location depends heavily on the assignment/project and can technically be anywhere in Sweden, but mostly in Stockholm.

We are looking for: Groundworkers, Concrete Workers, Carpenters.

Your responsibilities:

  • Perform practical work within construction and civil engineering projects.
  • Work with new production, renovation, and groundworks depending on the project.
  • Follow drawings, instructions, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other trades on the job site.
  • Contribute to maintaining high quality and meeting schedules.
  • Ensure order and safety on the job site.

Requirements:

  • You speak and understand Swedish at a good professional level (intermediate).
  • You have either at least 5 years of experience or a vocational certificate as a Groundworker, Concrete Worker, or Carpenter.
  • You must be able to provide references from HR/team leads from your last job.

Merits:

  • It is a big plus if you speak English or Polish at a good professional level (intermediate).
  • It is a plus if you are flexible and ready to travel within Sweden to work on different projects.

  • Adaptable and flexible in varying work environments.
  • Good ability to plan and manage tasks within given timeframes.

The employer offers:

  • Fixed-term employment for projects (2 weeks to 1 year depending on the assignment). After 6 months, there may be an opportunity for permanent employment.
  • When a project ends, the employer will match you with a new project. However, if this is not possible, the employment may be terminated.
  • The position is covered by a collective agreement.
  • Working hours: Typically Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day, between 06:00 and 20:00. It may also include weekends, evenings, and longer working days depending on the project and agreement with the employer.
  • Unsocial hours allowance (OB) applies according to the construction collective agreement.
  • Transport compensation may be provided depending on the situation.
  • Work clothes are included.

Important: This position is part of a project co-financed by the European Union through the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). The project aims to support third-country nationals in their integration into the Swedish labor market. Participants hold residence permits in Sweden but do not possess Swedish citizenship or EU/EEA citizenship.
