The Digitalization Department, with 65 employees, works with digital development, system administration, IT infrastructure, architecture, data networks, system integrations, e-services, as well as service & support.

We are now looking for a key person as a Business Developer IT for the Digital Development unit.

Your responsibilities

Do you want to help develop our IT and digitalization operations and strengthen our ability to deliver modern, efficient, and secure digital services? We are looking for you who want to drive improvement work, develop working methods, and contribute to a professional and future-oriented IT organization.

As a Business Developer, you work on developing the Digitalization Department's internal processes, structures, and working methods. You map and improve our processes within areas such as administration, project management, incident and change management, and contribute to establishing common methods, routines, and standards. You support management with analyses, decision support, and follow-up of goals and key performance indicators, and you lead or facilitate workshops and improvement initiatives together with our teams.

The role also involves driving change work related to new working methods, tools, and methods within the IT area. You work closely with both IT management and our specialist functions and contribute to creating clarity, structure, and higher digital maturity in the organization.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have relevant academic education in IT, systems science, informatics, business development, or equivalent experience.

It is meritorious if you have certification in business development or change management (e.g., PROSCI, SAFe, Lean), project management, and ITIL.

You have the following documented experience:

• Experience in business development related to IT, digitalization, or change work in larger organizations.
• Experience and ability to map and analyze business processes and translate them into requirements and improvement proposals.
• Experience and good understanding of working with/for public administration, its governance models, and formal decision-making processes.
• Acquired knowledge about information security and GDPR in digital processes through experience and/or education.
• Good understanding of IT organization working methods and digital solutions.
• Experience in leading workshops, dialogues, and collaboration meetings.
• Experience in change work in larger organizations (public sector or equivalent complexity).
• Experience and good ability to work systematically with documentation, follow-up, and quality assurance.
• Very good communicative skills in speech and writing in Swedish.

We also consider it meritorious if you have:

• Experience with digitalization initiatives in the public sector (e-services, automation, system implementations).
• Experience with portfolio management or IT governance at a strategic or tactical level.
• Experience in working with requirements management, user journeys, and needs analysis.
• Understanding of architecture, integrations, or information models.
• Experience in working with data analysis, visualization, analyses, or decision support.

As a person, you need to have strong collaboration skills and thrive working closely with both IT functions and various parts of the business. You build trust, create good relationships, and drive development together with others. Since you often lead dialogues, workshops, and anchoring work, communication is a central part of your job; you express yourself clearly, listen attentively, and adapt your message to the target group and situation.

You also need to have a well-developed holistic view and be able to see how processes, systems, governance, and organization are connected to propose solutions that work long-term and create value for the entire business. The role also requires good problem-solving analytical skills where you can break down complex issues, identify causes, and develop well-founded proposals that support both strategic and operational decisions.
