About Glömsta School

Glömsta School is a municipal primary school from preschool class to grade 9, located in the scenic Glömsta area in the southwestern part of Huddinge. Glömsta School features modern architecture and a unique schoolyard. The school has a strong student health service and a special focus on teaching in core subjects, based on increased teacher density that enables smaller and flexible teaching groups. The school also has a group for newly arrived students and provides teaching in smaller settings for students in need of special support for a large part of the school day. The leisure time activities are for students from grades F-3, after which an Open Leisure Club is offered for students grades 4-6. Our strengths include qualified teachers, a fully staffed student health service with all professions, a well-developed recess activity, and new modern facilities. Job Responsibilities

Do you want to make a difference for students' health, development, and learning? We are now looking for an engaged school nurse for Glömsta School.

Together with the school's other school nurse, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on the Student Health Service's medical interventions (SHS-MI) in accordance with current legislation, such as the Education Act, the Health and Medical Services Act, as well as SHS-MI's central guidelines and routines.

You are part of the school's student health team and contribute your medical competence to create the best possible conditions for students' learning, development, and health. In close collaboration with the school leadership and other student health personnel, you work preventively and health-promoting. The student health team consists of school leadership, school nurse, psychologist, counselor, special educator, and special needs teacher. The principal is responsible for the student health service. The business manager and medical responsible person at the central administration are responsible for the Student Health Service's medical intervention (SHS-MI) and are a support for the principal and the school nurse. The position is full-time during the academic year 26/27 and 70% from the academic year 27/28.

Responsibilities include among other things:

• Health visits and health conversations
• Vaccinations
• Clinic visits together with the school doctor
• Collaboration with students, guardians, school staff, as well as external actors and authorities
• Participate in SHS team meetings

Together with the school leadership and colleague, you are responsible for organizing the Student Health Service's medical interventions at the school. You document in the journal system Prorenata.

Huddinge Municipality's school nurses are part of the Student Health Service's medical intervention (SHS-MI), led by the business manager and medical responsible school doctor. You will become part of a professional network with regular meetings where development and operational issues are in focus.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are responsible, flexible, and have a good ability to create trusting relationships. You meet students and guardians with respect, sensitivity, and empathy, and have professional and good judgment in your work.

You are careful, structured, and have the ability to plan and structure both in the short and long term. The role requires that you can work independently while having very good collaboration skills and enjoying being an active part of a team. You take initiative to develop your own competence to also develop the operations.

We also see that you have an interest in development work and want to contribute to further developing the student health service's work. You have good computer skills and experience working in the journal system Prorenata.

Qualification Requirements:

• Licensed nurse with one of the following specialist nurse educations:
• Specialist Nurse Program – District Nurse 75hp
• Specialist Nurse Program – Child and Adolescent 60hp
• Specialist Nurse Program – School Nurse 60hp

Meritorious Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a school nurse
• Experience working in the journal system Prorenata
