About the position

As an anaesthetic nurse with us, you will work with thoracic anaesthesia and care for patients in our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). Here, we primarily perform heart and lung surgeries such as coronary artery bypass grafting, valve surgeries, and lung cancer surgeries. A specific aspect of thoracic surgery is that our patients are connected to the heart-lung machine during the operation, which requires well-functioning and efficient teamwork in the operating theatre. Part of our mission is to support the hospital's angiography services with anaesthetic expertise, which means you will also work to some extent with highly specialized cardiology.

The position involves three-shift work based on individual scheduling. We apply the 24/7 agreement.

• Have personal maturity and are confident, stable, and self-aware. You distinguish between the personal and professional and adapt your approach according to the situation
• Are stable and maintain calmness, focus, and a realistic perspective even in stressful or pressured situations
• Have good collaboration skills and contribute to effective teamwork in the operating theatre
• Are flexible and easily adapt to changed circumstances and the needs of the department.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Registered nurse with specialist education in anaesthesia
• At least one year of experience as an anaesthetic nurse in an operating department

Merits:

• Experience in thoracic surgery
