RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to help develop dementia care in Vingåker? We are now looking for a Dementia Developer for Vingåker Municipality!

We have initiated a development process according to the Swedish Dementia Centre's educational model, "Stjärnmärkt" (Star Certified). The Humlegården dementia wards and Hemtjänst Minnas are already Star Certified, and as the Dementia Developer, you will be driving this work forward.

In the role of Dementia Developer, you will have overall responsibility for the development and quality assurance of the municipality's dementia care. You will be instrumental in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of dementia care services.

Part of the work involves monitoring the external environment and implementing new practices in our operations. You will train and supervise staff within the elderly care services, as well as provide support, advice, and information to patients with dementia and their relatives.

Part of the role will also involve being responsible for and coordinating work related to Stjärnmärkt, BPSD, and SweDem. You will also serve as the municipality's coordinator with the region, including contact with memory investigation teams at health centers and memory clinics.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in dementia care.

You are a licensed nurse or occupational therapist with experience in the field. It is a requirement that you have education in dementia care, and it is an advantage if you are a trainer for the BPSD registry/Stjärnmärkt.

As a person, you are responsible, driven, and have good collaboration skills. You contribute to a positive work climate while having the ability to engage work groups. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

A B-class driver's license is required.
