Digital Support is part of the Digitalization and Innovation department at the Education Administration. We work to create stable, modern, and user-friendly digital environments for schools and educational activities.

Here, you will become part of an engaged team where collaboration, development, and user focus are important parts of everyday life.

Responsibilities

As a Support Technician, you work close to the operations and are a key part of creating functional and user-friendly digital environments for students and staff at our schools.

You will work in a broad and varied role where technical competence, service, and collaboration are central to the assignment. The work is carried out both independently and in collaboration with colleagues within Digital Support and other parts of the organization.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• providing support to students and staff regarding digital tools and equipment
• troubleshooting and handling computers, Chromebooks, Macs, and other IT equipment
• installing and issuing computers and other equipment
• working with account and permission management
• handling cases in the case management system
• participating in onboarding, digital exams, and the introduction of new services
• working proactively to improve the user experience

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a strong interest in IT, service, and digital development.

The position of Support Technician requires that you have:

• experience in IT support or similar work
• good technical understanding and interest in digital development
• good knowledge of Windows, Google Workspace, and preferably Microsoft 365

It is an advantage if you have experience working in schools or public sector operations, as well as support for Mac and Chromebooks.

As a person, you are service-oriented and solution-focused. You are communicative and thrive in a role with many contact surfaces. Since the work pace is high during certain periods, you have a good ability to structure your work independently, focusing on what makes a difference for our students and staff.
