About the role

As a driver with us, you work with transporting cars between our facilities, customers, and partners. You often become the person representing Bilsmidigt at delivery or pickup, which makes service, responsibility, and punctuality very important.

The work is varied and suits you who are self-reliant, flexible, and solution-oriented. Unexpected situations can arise during trips, and therefore we value people who can think for themselves, solve problems, and keep the customer updated in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

As a driver, you will among other things work with:

• Planning and booking the week's trips in consultation with our team
• Transporting cars between our various facilities
• Delivering cars to customers throughout Sweden
• Picking up cars from customers, suppliers, and partners
• Updating customers during the journey and planning arrival times
• Testing customers' cars according to test protocols upon pickup
• Documenting any deviations, damages, or defects
• Solving unexpected problems that may arise during trips

The transports usually take place by driving a car, but sometimes travel by bus, train, or plane also occurs.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who are confident behind the wheel, have a positive attitude, and like taking responsibility. You need to be punctual, structured, and able to handle customer contact in a professional manner.

To fit the role, you need:

• Have a B-driver's license for manual cars
• Have good driving experience
• Have access to your own car to get to our logistics center
• Be able to take at least 4 trips per week
• Be flexible and available for trips at inconvenient working hours
• Be able to work evenings, nights, and early mornings for longer trips
• Have a clean criminal record from the Police
• Be punctual, structured, and responsible
• Have a service-oriented and positive attitude towards customers
• Use the mobile phone in a responsible, traffic-safe, and legal manner while driving.

It is meritorious if you have experience in car transport, customer contact, logistics, route planning, or similar work.

Employment and compensation

The position starts as an hourly employment with a salary of 130 SEK per hour including vacation pay.
