Description
Ward 24 is a general psychiatric ward located at the S:t Göran hospital area in Kungsholmen, belonging to Northern Stockholm Psychiatry (NSP). We have specialist competence for patients with personality disorders, autism, OCD, and anxiety disorders.
The ward has 16 care beds, and we work according to person-centered nursing with a focus on the patient's own resources. The patient should, to the greatest possible extent, be involved in their own care. The goal is short care periods and voluntary care. As a nurse, you will be part of a team consisting of doctors, social workers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and assistant nurses.
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for you who enjoy working in a developing environment where you, as a nurse, have a central and important role as a team leader and in developing psychiatric nursing. As a nurse, you lead and are responsible for the nursing work and the individual's entire care process. The job involves planning, evaluating, and following up on nursing interventions continuously together with other team members.
The ward is in constant development to offer the best possible care, and we welcome your openness to operational development, new knowledge, and methods.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with an interest in psychiatry and preferably a desire for further education within psychiatric nursing. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Conditions
Permanent position, full-time. Individual schedule with day and evening shifts, working 2 out of 5 weekends.

For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO):
- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, in addition to a Swedish professional license. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
