We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with eligibility to apply for specialist education in intensive care. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as at least two years of professional experience as a nurse. Meritorious is ongoing or completed courses in emergency care, intensive care, or other specialized care. Experience with the medical record system Cosmic or other digital care systems is desirable. Knowledge of minority languages or other languages is also meritorious. Experience from emergency care, for example emergency department, postoperative care, intermediate care, or monitoring department. Experience of working in multidisciplinary teams is an advantage.

Great importance is attached to personal qualities. As a person, you are secure, stable, and have self-awareness. You have good cooperation skills as you value and see the benefit of cooperation with others. You are calm and controlled in stressful or pressuring situations.

As a trainee nurse on the intensive care unit in Sunderbyn, you will become part of a dedicated and competent work group that cares for both adults and children with failure of vital functions. You work in a team together with doctors, intensive care nurses, and assistant nurses, where cooperation and patient safety are in focus.

During your time as a trainee, you will gradually take on increased responsibility in the care of severely ill patients. You will receive guidance from experienced colleagues and the opportunity to develop in your professional role through practical learning, reflection, and further education.

Information about the position

The employment is a fixed-term position with the possibility of permanent employment, full-time. Working hours: day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Start date September 2026. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
