We are looking for summer and temporary staff for the kitchen at Röingegården.

Short description of Röingegården

Röingegården is a housing facility with special support, focusing on psychiatry. The target group consists of adult women and men from 18 years of age with psychiatric functional variations.

Our operations are run as a non-profit association, which means great opportunities for development as any surplus goes directly back into the operations for care development and other quality improvements. The association has existed since 1948. We have extensive experience working with psychiatry, having worked in this field for over 75 years.

Our starting point is "The Client at the Center." This means that we always place the client at the center when planning and discussing changes, interventions, activities, etc. "The Client at the Center" implies that the client is made involved in shaping their stay and that interventions are continuously adjusted.

The starting point of our work is that the client should improve their mental well-being, take care of what works, and develop their inherent resources that can and need to be strengthened. Our goal is for the client to be able to live a dignified life, like others and on equal terms.

The operation has 39 round-the-clock places and 10 outpatient places, so-called day activities.

Job duties - Kitchen

The kitchen at Röingegården is a large-scale kitchen (institutional catering). We prepare approximately 90 portions per day. The work includes meal preparation, salad preparation, and various common kitchen tasks. Self-control according to quality programs via Anticimex. The kitchen is staffed during daytime hours every day of the week.

Qualifications - Kitchen

Formal competence, experience

• Cook or kitchen assistant.
• Experience in kitchen work and EHP (food hygiene) is meritorious.

Personal qualities

• Good qualities characterized by clarity, commitment, cooperation, and flexibility.
• Good ability and habit of handling conflicts.
• Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing, as well as computer literacy.
• We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

If you are called for an interview, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
