About the Assignment

We are currently looking for an experienced IT Project Manager for our client for an assignment focused on digitalization, system implementation, and technical change management.

As an IT Project Manager, you will play a central role in planning, driving, and delivering projects within IT and business development – in close collaboration with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT projects from planning to execution according to established project methodologies (e.g., PPS, PRINCE2, PM3, or agile approaches).
• Be responsible for the project schedule, resources, budget, risk management, and communication.
• Ensure coordination between IT, business operations, and external vendors.
• Drive technical implementations, system replacements, or integrations.
• Contribute to improved processes and working methods within IT project management.
• Report status and progress to steering groups and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in project management within IT or digitalization.
• Experience leading complex projects in large organizations.
• Good understanding of IT environments, system development, infrastructure, or cloud solutions.
• Experience with established project models and agile methods.
• Strong communication skills and very good proficiency in Swedish (both spoken and written).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, SAFe).
• Experience in the public sector or consulting.
