About Us

We are now looking for a physiotherapist to join our wonderful team in geriatrics at Nacka Hospital! This is an opportunity for you who enjoy working both in a team and independently, in a family-like environment with close proximity to all professions, managers, and nearby operations. There are great opportunities to contribute to various development groups and projects, influencing care and developing your profession!

The department consists of four geriatric wards where all professional groups work closely together for the benefit of our patients. You belong to the paramedical group, which comprises 16 employees – physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, dietitians, and speech therapists. We are looking for someone who thrives working both independently and in pairs with an occupational therapist, enjoys taking significant responsibility for your own planning, and is flexible based on patient needs. We believe that, like us, you want to contribute to a good team spirit both within your own group and on the wards. Here you get the chance to make a difference for our patients and be an important part of the collaboration with nursing assistants, nurses, and doctors.

Nacka Hospital is located near Ektorp Center in beautiful Nacka. Our premises feature excellent staff areas and bright, pleasant workstations. When possible, we gather in the afternoon in our gym hall for a circuit training session to boost our energy and strengthen our well-being. Within Capio, we have great faith in every individual's ability, and we encourage our employees to take the initiative for improvements themselves. In this way, everyone can be involved in the company's development and success. We also offer continuous competence development and a range of benefits.

Come and work with us!

Your Role

As a physiotherapist with us, you will have a varied and enjoyable job. You start from the paramedical group, which meets every morning to review the day's planning together with the manager. Your tasks include, among other things, admissions; assessment and training of patients' mobility and walking ability, balance, and muscle function; assessment of assistive device needs and needs for other interventions such as contact with primary care or the municipality. Every day you participate in ward rounds and have check-ins with your team colleague. All wards care for patients with different diagnoses and varying needs for interventions, meaning days can look very different. The position includes weekend work of approximately 4 weekends per year.

In addition to patient care, we hope you will engage in our various development projects, host students, hold internal training sessions such as mobility training for our staff, or perhaps join the party committee!

What We Offer

We offer you a varied and developmental job in a family-like environment with close proximity to all wonderful colleagues! We have a strong drive for development where you have great opportunities to participate and influence. Here you become an important part of both the paramedical group and the team on the wards.

In addition, we offer:

  • Collective agreement
  • Present manager
  • Competence development, both internal and external
  • Sports allowance
  • Breakfast every Friday
  • An inclusive workplace where we learn from each other
About You

You are a licensed physiotherapist and confident in both personality and profession. Previous experience from working in geriatrics is advantageous. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, where teamwork skills, independence, and flexibility are important qualities.
