About the "Client Company"

DFDS Professionals is currently recruiting truck drivers for part-time assignments with our sister company, DFDS Logistics Services AB. The company is a transport firm specializing in the automotive industry, located in Arendal. The business operates 24/7, six days a week, and employs approximately 250 full-time staff. The fleet consists of roughly 300 units, including around 80 trucks and 220 trailers.

About the Role

As a truck driver through DFDS Professionals, you will perform transport tasks for the client. Your responsibilities will include loading, driving, and unloading goods across various transport flows, involving both short and long-distance hauls. The work is based in the Gothenburg area and is performed on a shift basis, covering all hours of the day.

For this position, you must be studying or have another primary occupation on a full-time basis (100%). It is an advantage if you have at least one year remaining in your studies.

About You

We are looking for someone who is confident in the driver's role and approaches the wheel with responsibility and safety awareness. Since the role involves daily contact with customers, it is important that you are service-oriented, have experience in customer service, and enjoy this aspect of the job. You work independently and in a structured manner, while also collaborating well with other drivers. The ability to work efficiently and meet set deadlines is a key part of the job.

The employment is a framework agreement position with the staffing agency DFDS Professionals, placed at DFDS Logistics Services. We also expect you to be flexible regarding working hours and tasks, and assignments with other clients may occur if needed.

Requirements for the Position

• Another primary occupation at 100% (or a pensioner seeking extra work)

• CE Driving License

• Digital Tachograph Card

• Valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC/YKB)

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English

• Previous experience in similar roles is an advantage

• Valid ADR certificate is an advantage

A requirement for this position is that you must be studying or have another primary occupation at 100%. It is desirable that you have at least one year remaining in your studies.

Mobile Consultant:

You are employed by us at DFDS Professionals but work on-site at our clients' premises. Being a mobile consultant means being employed by DFDS Professionals to perform work at client companies, where your workplace, working hours, and tasks may vary within an agreed service area. Selection is ongoing, and appointments may be made before the final application deadline.
