We are looking for a Physiotherapist for a permanent position in our wonderful home rehabilitation team on Östermalm.

Rehab City is a result unit within SLSO, Stockholm County Council. We consist of approximately 85 employees across three different clinics and provide primary care rehabilitation.

At our clinic on Östermalm, 24 people work, 10 of whom are physiotherapists.

Your work will be characterized by a focus on the patient, joy in working, and the attitude that all people are of equal value.

Responsibilities:

As a physiotherapist in home rehabilitation within primary care, you will meet patients of all ages and from various cultures. The patients have different diagnoses and functional impairments. We work both in home rehabilitation teams and with independent home visits.

You will work with functional assessments, prescription of assistive devices, and training in the patients' homes and immediate surroundings. We walk or cycle to our home visits.

When working in a patient's home, you must be comfortable being in environments with fur-bearing animals and not be sensitive to the smell of smoke.

Employment Type:

Permanent employment, where a probationary period may apply. Full-time or as agreed, with flexible working hours. Start date as agreed.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed physiotherapist with a Bachelor's degree (180 ECTS/HP); a Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Experience working in primary care is an advantage.
  • Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1.

For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

  • A background check is conducted before the decision on employment, according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks upon employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
  • In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement applies to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
