About the role

Our client is a global, market-leading technology company that develops and manufactures world-class advanced measurement and test equipment. At their facility in Kista, you will become a key player in the production of high-tech instruments. This is not an assembly line job. Here, you work independently with high-performance fine mechanics where every micrometer counts.

The role is unique as you act as the link between theory and practice. You do not just assemble according to drawings; you collaborate closely with the R&D and testing departments to optimize products, find more efficient assembly solutions, and prepare products for external production with subcontractors.

Responsibilities

  • Independently assemble components and fine mechanical instruments based on technical drawings and documentation
  • Ensure deliveries meet the schedule and comply with the company's strict quality and ISO standards
  • Work using the latest revision documentation
  • Collaborate closely with R&D and testing departments to develop products and create test equipment
  • Contribute ideas to streamline assembly and adapt products for production by subcontractors

We are looking for someone who

  • Has completed a technical education (industrial technology or equivalent practical/technical post-secondary education)
  • Has extensive experience in mechanical assembly and basic mechanical machining (e.g., drilling/tapping)
  • Has basic knowledge of pneumatics, electricity, and measurement technology
  • Has experience or a good understanding of working in an ISO-controlled production environment
  • Has very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have

  • Experience with the business system SAP
  • Good knowledge of English
