Introduction

Do you want to help develop the future of stroke rehabilitation – where social support, environment, and new forms of close care are at the center?

At the Department of Health and Welfare at Dalarna University, you will have the opportunity to work in a research environment where collaboration with society and international partners is a natural part of the operations. Here, research is combined with clear societal relevance, and you become part of a context where issues of health, environment, and participation are in focus. As a postdoc with us, you will have the opportunity to contribute to knowledge development in an environment characterized by collaboration, openness, and development – both regionally and internationally.

Your working day as a postdoc

The position is linked to the international Forte-funded project EQL-Stroke, which focuses on how social support and the physical and social environment affect opportunities for self-care after stroke. The project is carried out in collaboration with researchers in the Netherlands and Latvia, within a research environment where both doctoral students and postdocs are actively engaged.

You will contribute to the implementation of the project by participating in data collection, analysis, and scientific publication. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the project group and international partners. We are looking for you who want to take an active role in the development and implementation of the project.

The research is conducted in collaboration with patients and societal actors and is primarily based on case studies. The work involves participation in an interdisciplinary research environment where environment, technology, and participation are central perspectives.
