About the Swedish Prison and Probation Service

The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will become safer and more secure for everyone. We are the agency responsible for prisons, probation, remand prisons, and client transport.

Skogome is the largest prison in Sweden for men convicted of sexual offenses. As part of an ongoing renovation and new construction project, Skogome Prison will be expanded to a total of approximately 800 client places, which will mean more employees and larger, more modern premises.
