About the position

We have a vacant acting position as a Contact Nurse for Malignant Brain Tumors for the period 2026-09-01 to 2027-05-31. You will work together with four other contact nurses, neurologists, oncologists, neurosurgeons, and a social worker.

We work with a family-oriented approach with the patient in focus. Accessibility via phone and 1177, providing counseling and support for patients and relatives, is a must in the work. The role also includes observing therapy rounds, managing your own patient clinic, guiding patients further in the healthcare system, and maintaining contact with Health Care Centers, ASIH (Advanced Support at Home), Hospice, etc. You are a key person in creating continuity and security for patients and relatives.

  • Work well with complex issues. You analyze and break down problems into their components and solve them.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Swedish nursing license.
  • Experience in neurology and/or oncology.
