Västanfors Västervåla Parish is seeking a Church Janitor/Service Person

Västanfors Västervåla Parish offers traditional church activities, conference services, a restaurant, and a free school. Additionally, the group operates a treatment center, funeral agency, law firm, hotel, and healthcare clinic. The group employs approximately 150 people in total.

We are looking for a versatile person for a role that extends beyond traditional janitorial duties.

We are looking for someone who is positive and engaged. You are flexible in your work approach and have excellent teamwork skills. Both teamwork and individual work are part of daily life. We consider it a given that you are responsible and take initiative. Social competence is highly valued.

No specific education is required, but being physically capable, versatile, and generally handy is almost a must.

The position includes working in our churches during, for example, services, baptisms, weddings, and funerals, as well as traditional janitorial tasks for our other operations and school transport. The position is primarily during daytime hours, but evening and weekend work is planned and adapted to the operations (weekend work is scheduled).

Work Hours: Full-time.

Salary Type: Monthly salary

We apply a 6-month probationary period, after which the position transitions to permanent employment upon agreement. Membership in the Church of Sweden is required.

Start Date: As soon as possible. Recruitment is ongoing.
