Schedevi Psychiatry is a privately owned company that has offered support, 24-hour care, and housing for adults with mental health variations and co-occurring disorders since 1942. We provide a wide range of care services, including personal care, social and physical training, as well as support for individual development. We have several well-established operations and are located in Östergötland, Västergötland, and now also in Småland.

About Us

Schedevi Öst is a residential care home (HVB) consisting of 5 units and a day activity program. We work with functional training in activities of daily living (ADL) as well as active rehabilitation for adults with acquired disabilities resulting from, for example, psychotic illness or co-occurring disorders. Some parts of the operation are specifically focused on individuals with complex and long-term disabilities where the capacity for rehabilitation is assessed to be significantly limited.

We have extensive experience working with people who, in addition to being placed under the Social Services Act (SoL), are cared for under the Act on Open Forensic Psychiatric Care and the Act on Open Psychiatric Compulsory Care.

Job Responsibilities

The work primarily involves providing residents with support and care in their daily lives. Based on need areas and goals, an implementation plan has been established. Following this, a structured weekly schedule has been created for each individual, which may include support conversations, training in everyday life skills, and daily chores such as laundry, cleaning, and cooking.

In addition to these routine tasks at the units, such as documentation, weekly food shopping, cooking, cleaning, laundry, social training, and transporting clients to healthcare centers, these duties are part of the role.

The work involves operating with a clear structure and predictability in daily life through established routines and approaches.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who wants to work with adults who have pronounced disabilities resulting from psychiatric illness. We can offer you a pleasant, educational, and varied job in our operations. If you have completed or are currently studying education in healthcare, social work, or pedagogy, this is an advantage, as is previous experience in similar work. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and have good computer skills.
