As a Supply Chain Leader here, you are offered an exciting and varied role where you are responsible for the entire chain from forest to customer. With a focus on ensuring a sustainable and efficient supply chain for biofuels, your daily work will include both strategic initiatives and practical hands-on tasks, where you also play a key role in building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and contractors. You will become part of a dedicated team where your leadership and collaboration skills contribute to our joint development, both at the individual and group level.
Here is what you will do:
- Production Management and Planning: Lead and plan the entire biofuel production chain, ensuring that the right quantity and quality are delivered to the customer on time.
- Procurement and Sourcing: Work on sourcing biofuels from external suppliers, such as forestry administrations or large landowners.
- Contractor Management: Coordinate and direct skidding, chipping, and transport contractors to ensure that work is performed efficiently and according to agreed delivery plans. You also ensure that contractors work in accordance with our sustainability requirements and safety standards.
- Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and customers so that all links in the supply chain function smoothly.
- Tendering and Sales: Participate in negotiations with customers (heating plants) and contractors.
With an office location in Växjö or Jönköping and the possibility to work partially from home, we offer a flexible work environment. You will be part of our Bioenergy function within Wood trade & Steering and report to the Supply Area Manager.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who put people first and are confident in leading and inspiring others without being a manager. You act in a business-like and professional manner in all situations, while showing burning engagement and drive in your work.
Skills and qualifications required for this role:
- It is an advantage if you have forestry competence/experience through education or previous jobs.
- You have experience in leadership in some form, preferably in a production-oriented environment.
- You thrive in collaboration and being part of a team while also enjoying working independently.
- A strong drive and willingness to do business and develop the operations.
- You have good communication skills with a solution-oriented attitude.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills.
