K 4 in Arvidsjaur is a small regiment, which means close proximity to everything, both within the operations and among colleagues. K 4 trains, develops, and leads ranger units with qualified capabilities to operate deep within enemy formations in a subarctic environment.

Defence Health (Försvarshälsan) is the Swedish Armed Forces' internal occupational health service. We provide health and medical care, including daily medical care for conscripts during basic training, as well as occupational health care for employees. In short, our mission is to help the unit maintain its "combat readiness" by ensuring that conscripts and employees are healthy.

In Arvidsjaur, we are a team consisting of doctors, psychologists, nurses, physiotherapists, medical secretaries, and a business manager. As a Physiotherapist here, you will work both independently and as part of a team alongside other professional categories.

Main Responsibilities

As a physiotherapist at Defence Health, you are part of our team. Your role is to serve as an independent expert resource and a competence support within your field of knowledge. In practice, this means preventing, assessing, treating, and rehabilitating musculoskeletal injuries for conscripts and employed personnel. The promotional and preventive work consists of training, counseling, and load ergonomics projects for our customers. The work takes place not only in the clinic but also out in the field, in operational areas, at the gym, and sometimes outside of office hours. You should be proactive in load ergonomics issues, both within occupational health care and in our rehabilitation work.

REQUIREMENTS 

 Qualifications 

• Licensed physiotherapist with good clinical experience in the profession
• Current and relevant experience in diagnostics and treatment of the musculoskeletal system
• Current and relevant experience in preventive and promotional work and/or load ergonomics and movement analysis
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing (Swedish/English)
• Good computer skills
• Driver's license, category B (manual) minimum

QUALIFICATIONS (BENEFICIAL) 

• Training in load ergonomics
• Training in OMT, OMI and/or Mc Kenzie (MDT), JEMS, Axelina, and BK progression functional training
• Documented experience in assessing and treating sports- and load-related injuries
• Experience in training and counseling
• Professional experience in occupational health care and/or primary care
• Experience with report writing and good computer skills
• Completed military service and/or previous experience serving in the Swedish Armed Forces
• Experience working in and independently driving projects as well as writing reports
• Knowledge of workplace laws and regulations

Other Information 

Employment Type: Permanent position starting with a six-month probationary period.

Full-time: Yes.

Duty is primarily during daytime, but also occurs during evenings and weekends in connection with exercise activities.
