We are looking for a school nurse with an employment of 80-100% at one of our primary schools. As a school nurse in Nykvarn Municipality, you are employed within the central student health services and placed at one of our schools. Your direct manager is the Head of Student Health Services, who is also medically responsible. Together, we work to promote a good and accessible learning environment for our students.

As a school nurse with us, you will have a varied, challenging, and interesting assignment in an organization with close collaboration both internally and externally. You are responsible for planning and implementing the Student Health Services' medical interventions (EMI) according to guidelines and base programs. This includes, among other things:

• Conducting health visits and health examinations according to the municipality's base program, as well as offering vaccinations according to the national vaccination program.
• Offering open reception and simpler healthcare interventions for students.
• Contributing your medical expertise to the school's student health work, both in the Student Health Team (EHT) and in our work groups.
• Working cross-professionally together with school doctors, school psychologists, counselors, special education teachers, teachers, leisure center staff, students, and guardians to create the best conditions for learning and health.

As a person, you are responsible and independent, but you also understand the importance of collaboration and communication. You are confident in your role and have the ability to adapt quickly when circumstances change. You are highly committed to the well-being of students and want to contribute to developing our health-promoting work. You enjoy taking initiative and are sensitive to the needs of students and the organization. Your medical competence and your ability to build good relationships enable you to provide secure support to students and guardians.

• Can work in a structured and independent manner, but also contribute to the team
• Has good communication skills and can build relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
• Is flexible and driven by taking responsibility for development and improvement
• Engaged and structured with good ability to document and follow up
• Good knowledge of the Education Act and the Health and Medical Services Act, as well as other relevant laws for the profession within student health medical interventions
• Experience with digital tools and good computer literacy.

The "Learn and Grow" office in Nykvarn Municipality runs four municipal primary schools and adapted primary schools for grades 1-9. At each school, there is a lead school nurse who is part of the consolidated student health services. The mission of the student health services is to promote students' learning, development, and health by contributing to increased equity, where everyone is given support to develop towards the goals of education in a safe and accessible learning environment. Requirements:

• Licensed nurse with specialist education as a district nurse, pediatric nurse, or school nurse
• Ability to communicate clearly in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
