One of our colleagues is moving on to new challenges, so we are looking for a new physiotherapist colleague to work at our clinic.

Our clinic is located just next to Tyresö Centre with good transport links. Here, 10 physiotherapists work closely alongside occupational therapists, dietitians, chiropractors, and rehabilitation assistants. We are in the same building and collaborate closely with Bollmora Health Centre and Child Health Centre, where doctors, psychologists, nurses, and assistant nurses work.

Job Responsibilities:

In primary care, you will meet patients of all ages and from various cultural backgrounds. Patients present with a wide range of conditions and problems. As a physiotherapist in primary care rehabilitation, you independently perform assessments, evaluations, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients individually and/or in groups/patient schools. Collaboration with other professional groups occurs based on patient needs. Home visits may occur individually or in a team with a colleague from another rehabilitation profession. You participate in regular professional group meetings and workplace meetings. Supervising students is a natural part of the role.

Qualifications:

  • Registered physiotherapist
  • Valid driver's license (Category B)
  • Experience working in primary care is meritorious, but we are also interested in recent graduates
  • Experience with the medical record system TakeCare is preferred

Employment Type:

For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

  • A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, conducted through occupational health services before employment.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, in addition to a Swedish professional license. The same requirement applies to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
