Welcome as a casual Occupational Therapist to the inpatient care, Psychiatry Northwest!
You will work on our wards at Danderyd Hospital and S:t Göran's Hospital, focusing on general and geriatric psychiatry, affective disorders, and psychosis. You will become part of an interprofessional team where the occupational therapist's perspective is an integral part of care planning. Our assessments are primarily based on the ADL taxonomy, PRPP, MoCA, and the Sunnaas ADL Index.
Collaboration within the team takes place with social workers, care coordinators, doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries.
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments as a basis for the patient's continued care and/or interventions in connection with discharge.
- Document in the medical record system Take Care.
- Collaborate with other actors in the care chain.
Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (required).
- Experience working in psychiatric care (meritorious).
- Good computer skills and confidence in documenting in medical record systems.

The position will be filled subject to the condition that it does not need to be taken for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.
In patient-oriented work within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO):
- A register check is applied before a decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
- Requirements include, in addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
