Do you want a meaningful and eventful summer job where you can make a difference every day? Welcome to the Foundation "Sällskapet Vänner till Pauvres Honteux" (SVPH) – a workplace where security, joy, and community are in focus!

About the workplace

Nockebyhöiden Care and Support Residence is located in the beautiful nature of Bromma and offers a safe and thoughtful environment for 67 residents. Here we have five wards for people with dementia and one ward for somatic care. We work from a client-centered and salutogenic perspective where the resident's wishes and needs are in focus. If you have extensive experience in geriatrics and dementia, you are welcome to our professional teams!

We are now looking for nurses for both day and night shifts for the summer of 2026.

What we offer:

  • A warm and inclusive work team
  • Access to indoor and outdoor gym, indoor pool, and sauna
  • A lovely work environment with friendly and knowledgeable colleagues and a shared morning coffee every day
  • Collective agreement and good terms
  • The opportunity to truly make a difference for our seniors

Responsibilities:

As a responsible nurse, you will be the team leader for a team of nursing assistants. You will be responsible for ensuring that the work at the residence is carried out according to SVPH's current requirements and goals for the operations. This includes, among other things, delegating medical tasks. The nurse is part of the care team together with the nursing assistants, i.e., performs care work. As support in your work, you have a physiotherapist and occupational therapist on-site on weekdays.

Qualifications

  • Nursing degree
  • Specialist education in dementia or geriatrics is preferred
  • Experience in leading care work
  • High social competence regarding sensitivity, communication, flexibility, teamwork, initiative, and responsibility.
  • Service-oriented and has good treatment towards residents and employees
  • Experience with medical record keeping

  • Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

Great importance is attached to personal suitability for working with people with dementia. Language test and background check are included in the recruitment process.

Employment:

Period: June 15 – August 31 (with the possibility of hourly fixed-term employment also before and after the summer). The employment starts with an introduction.

Working hours: Schedule according to agreement.
