Are you one of the fastest on the ball and ready for more responsibility? foodora market is now looking for an Assistant Store Manager in Linköping. This is the role for you if you love fast-paced retail operations and want to combine hands-on work with increased responsibility for the store.

As Assistant Store Manager, you are the store manager's right-hand person, but your workplace is primarily on the floor alongside your colleagues. You lead by example in daily operations - from receiving goods to packing orders.

The role is approximately 30 hours per week and includes day shifts, evening shifts, and weekend work.

What does the role involve?

The role is operational and fast-paced. You are responsible for ensuring smooth store flow and that the team performs at its best. Your main tasks include:

• Daily Operations: Pick and pack customer orders quickly and with high precision. Ensure shelves are stocked and products are clearly labeled, and verify that incoming goods match orders and meet quality standards.

• Responsibility: You support the Store Manager with product ordering, inventory control, and ensure the store is always in top condition. You also manage staffing levels and solve challenges that arise in daily operations.

• Administration: You support the Store Manager with various administrative tasks such as: scheduling, systematic work environment management, preparing staff meetings, employee reviews, and recruitment.

• Leadership: You lead the work during shifts and ensure all orders are picked quickly and with high quality. You train new employees and show them how to work efficiently and smartly in picking and warehouse management.

Qualifications

• Experience from retail, warehousing, or similar service roles where speed and efficiency are key.
• You have previously taken on greater responsibility, for example as a shift leader, team leader, or an informal leadership role in your current team.
• You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience in food handling or personnel management is an advantage, but your attitude and drive weigh the heaviest.
