Olympica is now looking for an engaged school nurse who wants to work in our central student health team with a clear focus on promoting and preventing student health issues.

The position is distributed among our primary schools in Hedemora (Grades F–6), Ludvika (Håksberg) (Grades F–6), and Leksand (Excel) (Grades F–9). You will become an important part of a unified student health effort where collaboration, quality, and the best interests of the student are always in focus.

About the role

As a school nurse with us, you work primarily with promotion and prevention to strengthen students' health and create good conditions for learning. You contribute to developing health-promoting methods and structures in the schools.

You are responsible for the medical interventions of the student health service and conduct health visits, vaccinations, and simpler healthcare interventions according to the baseline program. You identify needs for support early and collaborate with other professions in the student health team.

You are part of a central student health team together with other professionals, where you jointly drive and develop preventive student health work. The work takes place at the organizational, group, and individual levels.

• is a licensed nurse with further education as a school nurse or district nurse
• has experience working with children and young people
• has a strong interest in promotional and preventive work
• is confident in your professional role and has good collaboration skills
• works in a structured and independent manner while valuing teamwork
