At Vardaga Home Care Team Skeppargatan on Östermalm, we are looking for a nurse assistant (undersköterska) or trained care assistant (vårdbiträde) to replace an employee on parental leave in the evening shift. The role involves working in home care during evening hours, with working hours between 16:00 and 22:30 on weekdays and weekends (schedule with duty for three weekends out of four).

About the role
The evening work consists of helping elderly people in their own homes with personal care, supervision, cooking, mobility assistance, and answering safety alarms. The duties also include performing social documentation.
Thanks to you, our customers can continue to live at home and maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging.
About Vardaga Home Care Team Skeppargatan
We are a team with an office on Östermalm, close to the subway and our customers. We are approximately 60 people working here, and we have about 170 customers, all living near our premises on Östermalm. In the evenings, seven people work each night; it is an ambitious group that supports each other and is keen on providing good care and service to customers.
We have a clear organization regarding different roles, routines, and expectations for our employees out at the customer's home. Managers are on-site so that our employees receive the support they need.
The position is 68.92% and is a permanent employment (fixed-term). The work schedule is a fixed rotating evening schedule with work three weekends out of four. The position has a probation period of six months. Priority is given to applicants who can start employment in June.
Your experience and knowledge
We wish that you who apply to us:
- Enjoy working with people and providing service.
- Have education as a nurse assistant or care assistant. (REQUIRED)
- It is desirable if you have a driver's license (automatic) and can drive a car in the city center when needed. (NOT REQUIRED)
- Have experience working in home care or elderly care facilities.
- Can work evening hours between 16:00 and 22:30 on a fixed rotating schedule based on operational needs.
- Easily collaborate with customers, colleagues, relatives, and managers.
- Speak and write Swedish well.
- Enjoy walking, as the work is mobile and involves moving between customer visits.
- Have a positive attitude and want to contribute to the evening team.

Start date: End of August/beginning of September 2026.
