What does the job as a nurse at Norlandia Elderly Care involve?

A nurse at Norlandia Elderly Care is a valuable key person, and we are looking for someone who is skilled in their professional role and enjoys meeting people in various situations. Together in the team with care staff, rehabilitation, and management, we collaborate around the resident to provide a good life every day.

The specific competence of a registered nurse is nursing care. This covers both the scientific knowledge area and the patient-oriented work based on a humanistic view of humanity. You are responsible for ensuring that our residents' needs for health and medical care are met.

As a nurse, you are responsible for and lead the nursing care work. This means independently, in team collaboration, and in partnership with the resident and their next of kin, you are responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. An important task is also to supervise, support, and educate other care staff and be a good role model for your colleagues.

You work with care in everything you do, taking great personal responsibility, and have the ability to prioritize and lead others even under changing circumstances. Flexibility and collegial cooperation are of great importance in the role.

About Sirishof and Skäpplandsgården Elderly Care Facilities

Sirishof is centrally located next to the city park. The surrounding area offers beautiful walking paths. Close proximity to shops and restaurants. The facility consists of seven units, three of which are for people with dementia. A total of 56 places.

Skäpplandsgården is located at Haga Center, which offers restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, health centers, etc. Good bus connections. The facility consists of three units, two of which are for people with dementia. A total of 27 places.

Who are we looking for?

• We are looking for you who are a registered nurse.
• You should have previous experience as a nurse in elderly care.
• You need to have good knowledge of health and medical care regulations.
• You must master the Swedish language well in both speech and writing.
• We would appreciate if you have knowledge of documentation based on ICF and KVÅ.
• We want you to have good knowledge of the national quality registers relevant to the operations.
• Driver's license B (automatic) is required.
