ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is a global defense and security company active in air, land, and naval defense, civil security, and commercial aviation technology. They are technically leading in many areas, and one-fifth of their revenue goes to research and development. We are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer who wants to work with maintenance technical issues within mechanics, hydraulics, electromechanics, and safety equipment. The section you will belong to is responsible for providing technical maintenance services for both military and civil aviation systems.

The duties consist of technical consultancy for internal and external customers, and include among other things:

• Technical investigations
• Analysis of operations and maintenance
• Certification of maintained equipment
• Development of modification proposals and maintenance instructions
• Development and creation of test and maintenance equipment
• Work in both short and long-term special projects
• Conduct maintenance technical training

The duties also include providing internal technical support to the maintenance workshop as well as technical support to the marketing staff, for example in connection with the preparation of quotes and calculations.

The work is carried out both in teams and independently, offering great opportunities for variation and development, both theoretically and practically, within a very broad area of operations. There are great opportunities for development, both within the section and at the company as a whole, and if interested, you will have the opportunity to travel on business, and potentially also the opportunity for overseas assignments.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Have a relevant vocational college or university degree in mechanical engineering, maintenance technology, or service, or alternatively work experience from the field
• Have a technical interest and general technical competence
• Have fluent skills in Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work

If you have work experience from maintenance or technical documentation within aviation technology, it is highly meritorious.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. To fit in and thrive in the role, we see that you have a strong technical interest and like to drive your work forward. Since you will work with several contact points in different areas, you need to be proactive, answer technical questions, and make decisions.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT

This position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will be employed by Friday.
