Plastic Repair & Painting at Werksta Gustavsberg – Efficient and Sustainable WorkAs a plastic repair technician/painter, you are responsible for the repair, preparation, and painting of plastic parts and body panels for passenger and transport vehicles according to manufacturer requirements and customer expectations. The workshop is modern and equipped to handle both damage repairs and cosmetic work with a focus on safety, environment, and finish.
Responsibilities – Plastic Repair, Color Material Handling, and FinishPerform plastic welding, forming, sanding, and repair work on plastic parts
Prepare surfaces for painting: cleaning, masking, priming, and filling
Mix and apply paint, perform spray painting, and execute finish with correct color matching
Quality control and polishing to ensure a flawless final result
Document performed work in the workshop system and follow internal routines
Collaborate closely with sheet metal, paint, and damage departments for efficient workflow
Contribute to a safe and orderly work environment and follow current environmental and health routines
Relevant education in vehicle technology, painting, or plastic technology, or equivalent work experience
Experience with plastic repairs, plastic welding, and spray painting is advantageous
Experienced in color mixing and modern painting systems as well as spray equipment
Meticulous, quality-conscious, and solution-oriented
Can work both independently and in a team
Category B driver's license is required
Swedish language skills (spoken and written) are necessary
