About the 100th Anniversary

The 100th-anniversary celebrations began with the opening of Wisdome Stockholm. In spring 2024, we opened The Cell in Hagastaden, and in spring 2025, Tekniska i Tensta – a branch focusing on Mathematics. We continue our touring operations and offer a broad program from mornings to late evenings. All of this is Tekniska, which after 100 years has become much more than a museum, and the celebrations culminate in the opening of a Jubilee Exhibition in 2026.

About the Role

As a Team Leader at Tekniska, you play a key role in leading both people and daily operations. The role primarily involves working in the afternoons and evenings, where you are responsible for creating a safe, clear, and well-functioning evening operation for both employees and visitors.

We are looking for you who have conscious and thoughtful leadership. You understand the importance of creating direction, building trust, and developing people while driving the business forward.

In the role, you are present in the operations and lead by being on-site, coaching in the moment, and creating good conditions for the team to succeed together. Through your actions, you set the standard for treatment, collaboration, and quality.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Operational Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop employees in daily work during evening hours.
• Operational Management: Plan, distribute, and follow up on work during evening hours.
• Safety and Responsibility: Act safely and decisively in emerging situations and ensure a safe operation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other functions within the organization to create a cohesive and well-functioning evening operation.
• Structure and Follow-up: Ensure that schedules, staffing, and administrative processes function efficiently.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in operational management and leadership.
• Experience from events or other visitor industries.
• Good organizational skills and experience with administration related to operations.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both oral and written.

• Structured and solution-oriented.
• Confident and clear in your leadership, with the ability to motivate and support employees.
• Responsible with good ability to make decisions on the spot.
• Flexible and adaptable in an operation that can change from day to day.

Other

The position involves working in afternoons and evenings, including some weekends.

Application:

The position is a full-time role, with a 6-month probationary period. Work is scheduled on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The work primarily takes place in the evenings. We conduct ongoing selection and interviews and will fill the position as soon as we find the right candidate.
