Villa Djäknegatan is a newly opened nursing home that has been open since May 2024.

About the role

You are the hub around the residents' health and medical care efforts and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring medical orders are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operations.

Collaboration and support

You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and train the care staff so that together you give each resident the best possible life. In this role, you work closely with the facility's group managers who are responsible for the care staff. Our group managers also coach and work together with the teams in daily work.

Getting to know the residents

Understanding the residents' wishes and noticing small changes in their health and medical conditions are often crucial for correct assessments and decisions.

Clear routines

To create security and clarity for you as a nurse, there is comprehensive support in the form of practical and easy-to-implement routines, policy documents, and checklists. Our quality management system is called Qualimax and is industry-leading.

As a new nurse with us, you participate in our digital introduction program together with your mentor to ensure that you get a clear introduction with the goal of quickly getting into the work and our routines.

About Villa Djäknegatan

Villa Djäknegatan has 80 places, 60 for people with dementia and 20 for people with care needs. In total, there are four nurse positions, and we have rehab on-site Mon-Fri. We are a happy group that enjoys working here, do you want to be part of our community, apply for the position!

Your experience and knowledge

You are a licensed nurse and we would like you to have worked a few years within elderly care. Our residents are often multi-morbid, which requires that you have both overview knowledge of different diseases and conditions as well as an interest in the aging person. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
