Duvbopark is a safe and active residential facility located in a green and lush area in Duvbo, close to the center of Sundbyberg. The facility consists of five floors with a total of 64 apartments. Sundbyberg City's elderly care services are certified according to ISO 9001:2015, which is a tool for effective quality management.

In addition to nursing staff, quality coordinators, caretakers, and activity leaders work here. We also have access to a therapy dog, music therapists, and dementia nurses.

We are now looking for two nurses for our operations. This is a role for you who are driven and want to shape modern elderly care. We are expanding our team to include 6 nurses, 2 occupational therapists, and 1 physiotherapist. We are looking for someone interested in working in short-term care. We have one unit with 13 short-term beds focused on somatics and another unit with 12 beds focused on dementia, comprising 7 permanent beds and 5 short-term beds.

We are looking for you who are proactive, meticulous, curious, and responsible. You have good communicative and pedagogical skills and a genuine interest in working with the elderly. You are solution-oriented and see possibilities instead of problems. Working in a salutogenic manner is a prerequisite.

As a nurse, you will be responsible for care and perform usual nursing tasks. You will have a leadership role where it is important to create a team together with the care staff, in order to offer care recipients safe and person-centered care with a focus on a meaningful and dignified day based on their wishes and needs.

Other tasks include planning and driving development projects together with our quality coordinator and care staff. You will supervise and support students, care recipients, relatives, and care staff. We are constantly working on competence development and quality improvements and look forward to you complementing us with your experience and skills.

Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse with experience in elderly care. We prefer that you have worked with people with dementia diagnoses and/or in short-term care. You must master the Swedish language in speech and writing. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Before employment, the employer will require you to show an extract from the police's suspicion and criminal record register.

The position is temporary full-time.
