Are you a confident and clear leader who wants to take overall responsibility for planning, leading, and developing a business with high demands on quality, structure, and people? Do you thrive in a role where you combine operational leadership with long-term planning and collaboration with both customers and colleagues?

Then you might be the right person for us!

About the role:

The Production Manager has overall responsibility for leading and developing the business within GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative standards). This means you plan and monitor work, resources, and economy, while ensuring our services are delivered with high quality, in line with both customer requirements and external regulations. The role involves international cooperation, primarily within the group.

You lead, engage, and develop employees and are responsible for creating a good and sustainable working environment – both physically and organizationally. The role carries personnel and work environment responsibility, and you collaborate closely with the Business Manager, colleagues in other units, and internal support functions. The role involves customer contact and an active contribution to sales efforts, where you, together with the Business Manager and sales function, contribute to business development and long-term customer relationships.

The role may also involve, by agreement, working as an auditor within certification.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the Business Manager, support functions, and teams to plan the business forward, ensure efficient processes, and create good long-term foresight.
  • Lead and plan the business so that assignments are carried out efficiently, with quality, and on time.
  • Monitor results and forecasts monthly.
  • Ensure that work meets requirements from customers, standards, and external regulations.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and drive improvement measures.
  • Actively work on developing employees through dialogue, follow-up, and training initiatives.

The position is full-time, and the location is by agreement.

Do you have what it takes?

You are a confident and clear leader who enjoys taking responsibility, working in a structured manner, and seeing the big picture. You find it easy to make decisions, prioritize, and create momentum while being receptive and present in your leadership.

You thrive in an environment with competent and experienced employees and see technical expertise as a natural driving force in the business's development. You are motivated by creating engagement, collaboration, and developing both people and ways of working. Your role is characterized by business acumen, responsibility, and an interest in quality and businesses with clear demands and structures.

We see that you have:

  • Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in leading and developing employees.
  • Good ability to plan, follow up, and create structure.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience in international and/or business contexts, remote leadership, and certification are meritorious.

What can you expect from us in return?

Kiwa is today one of the most successful companies in inspection, testing, certification, and technical consultation, thanks to our employees who, through their engagement and knowledge, contribute safety and sustainability to our customers and society. Therefore, Kiwa invests heavily in its employees and their development. Through your daily work, interesting projects, and training, you and your skills will constantly develop as part of Kiwa! At Kiwa, "team before self" is important, and together we create a positive work environment where we are all part of a larger community, the Kiwa community!

  • Secure and stable employment – Kiwa has collective agreements.
  • Generous wellness allowance.
  • Reimbursement for medical care, vaccinations, and the opportunity for a thorough health analysis.
  • A time bank so you can take time off when you want – not just on public holidays.
  • The opportunity to join Kiwa's ski trip with approx. 100 wonderful colleagues.
