Do you want to drive your own construction projects from start to finish – and have full responsibility for both the business aspect and the execution?

At Balco, you will take on a key role where you lead multiple parallel projects and are responsible for the entire process – from planning and kick-off to completion and final inspection. You run these projects as independent businesses, with full focus on economics, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction.

About the role

As a Project Manager with us:

• You lead construction projects related to balcony and facade renovation, primarily targeting housing cooperatives.
• You have overall responsibility for the execution of projects, including budget, schedule, and results.
• You coordinate internal functions such as design, production, and logistics, as well as external partners.
• You handle procurement and engage in some calculation work.
• You are a key figure in customer dialogue throughout the entire project.

Projects typically range in size between 10–50 MSEK, where we usually act as the general contractor.

The position is based in Växjö, and you will visit your projects regularly on-site, which involves travel and overnight stays.

Who we are looking for

We believe you:

• Have experience driving own projects within construction or contracting.
• Are accustomed to taking responsibility for economics, schedules, and delivery.
• Are structured and business-driven, with the ability to make decisions and drive projects forward.
• Easily build trust with customers and lead teams.
• Have strong administrative skills and thrive in a role with many contact points.

Educational background in construction, engineering, or economics is a plus – but your experience and drive weigh the heaviest.
