About the role

As a Junior Data Coordinator, you will become a key player in our team, focusing on building a solid foundation for our data. You will be responsible for data structuring, data management, and programming of central metrics, directly supporting our Business Controllers with accurate data that shapes the future of education. You will work closely with a senior colleague who focuses on the analysis and presentation of the data you handle, giving you excellent opportunities for learning and development in the field.

In this role, you will use a mix of technologies, but primarily work with dbt, Databricks, Power Query (Excel), and DAX (Power BI).

Responsibilities

  • Data structuring and data management (data cleansing, stage-data)
  • Programming of metrics and KPIs
  • Management of own smaller APIs and file uploads
  • Maintenance of internal registers (e.g., cost centers)
  • Documentation of code and data flows

We are looking for you who

You are driven by a natural curiosity for data management and have a high logical ability that allows you to quickly see patterns and connections. Since the role involves a lot of precision, we see you as someone who finds security and stimulation in a structured and repetitive way of working. You will become part of an engaged and relaxed team where we value a positive attitude and have fun together while delivering quality. To qualify for the role, you also have:

  • A post-secondary technical education with a focus on data/programming from YH (University College), university, or college
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Good knowledge of Power BI or similar
  • Understanding of version control and documentation with GitHub

It is an advantage if you have

  • Experience with technologies such as dbt and/or Databricks
  • A few years of work experience from a corresponding role within data
  • Knowledge of AI tools for code generation and documentation (e.g., Copilot)
