Gamla Uppsala Buss welcomes new colleagues and is now hiring full-time bus drivers. In your role as a bus driver, you will meet people of all ages every day who are traveling to various destinations around the city, at all hours of the day and night. You are an important part of people's daily lives, providing passengers with a positive and safe travel experience through personal and attentive service.

Being a bus driver is an independent profession, and in your work, you are responsible for passengers and the vehicle. At Gamla Uppsala Buss, you will also become part of a community where we care for each other. We want you to feel good and secure with us!

The employment begins with a joint internal training starting on August 25th, where you will learn all routes and important internal procedures within the company. We can offer you a permanent full-time position, with a 6-month probation period.

Who are we looking for?

You have a valid Category D driver's license and YKB (transport competence certificate). You have good driving experience. You have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. You live within commuting distance (approx. 50 km) from Uppsala.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and, in addition to driving and traffic skills, look at service awareness, sense of responsibility, and stress tolerance when hiring new staff. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in an independent and social profession. As there is much internal and external contact with colleagues and customers, we require that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Our main activity is to perform city bus traffic in Uppsala on behalf of Region Uppsala.
