The Executive Office of Region Uppsala is part of Region Uppsala, one of the largest employers in Uppsala County. Our Operations
Do you want to be part of building the healthcare logistics of the future? Region Uppsala has embarked on a comprehensive journey to develop the region's logistical capabilities. As part of this work, the region has established a central Logistics Function with the mandate to ensure robust and efficient material supply to healthcare through central management. Region Uppsala is currently in an expansion phase where we will implement a new business system and put a central warehouse into operation under our own management. The central warehouse will serve as the hub for the region's material supply to healthcare and will be a key part of the region's initiative to increase supply readiness.
Your Role
As a warehouse worker, you are a vital part of Region Uppsala's material supply to healthcare. You work in daily warehouse operations and contribute to ensuring stable, efficient, and quality-assured logistics flows where the right materials are in the right place at the right time. We will also have our own trucks; if you have a C-driving license, there is an opportunity to support drivers as needed.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Receiving deliveries and receiving controls
- Warehousing and forklift operation
- Order picking and packing
- Restocking and handling of storage locations
- Maintaining order, structure, and quality in the warehouse
- Collaboration within the team to ensure efficient flow
The work requires attention to detail, structure, and responsibility to ensure quality and stable logistics flows to healthcare operations.
You work according to established procedures and actively contribute to a safe, precise, and well-functioning warehouse operation. The role involves varied tasks where you need to be able to adapt to the needs of the business and collaborate with colleagues across several parts of the logistics chain.
Your Qualifications
- Completed upper secondary education
- Experience in warehousing and logistics flows
- Forklift license A and B
- Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
Merits:
- Knowledge and experience working with healthcare materials and pharmaceuticals
- C-driving license

We Offer
Permanent full-time employment, with start date as agreed. The working hours are initially during the day; shift work may occur during full operation. The workplace is Region Uppsala's Central Warehouse.
Swedish citizenship is required for the position. A security clearance and register check may be conducted prior to employment, in accordance with provisions in the Security Protection Act.
