At Linnaeus University, we run a restaurant, café, and catering service, handling everything from lunch service to conferences and events. Our units – Kristina Restaurant, Rasken Restaurant, Astrakan Café, and the Salad Bar – serve approximately 400 lunch guests daily.

We are now looking for an engaged and service-oriented colleague who wants to work in a varied manner across our different operations. One day you might work at Kristina Restaurant, and the next at Rasken Restaurant, the café, or in catering and events. You will work broadly within the café, kitchen, and service sectors, helping to create a positive experience for our guests in line with our values – spreading joy, pleasantly surprising, and being accessible.

We believe you are a positive and flexible person who thrives in interactions with guests and enjoys giving that little extra. You have an interest in food and service and like working at a fast pace together with others.

Previous experience from the restaurant industry is meritorious, as is familiarity with cash registers and computers. We would like you to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, as well as a B-class driver's license. If you also have an interest in sustainability and environmental work, that is a big plus.

At Nordrest, there are good opportunities to develop and learn various parts of the business. The work is primarily during daytime hours, but evening work may occur for events and bookings.

We would like you to have:

• Interest in food and drink
• Previous experience from the restaurant industry
• Familiarity with cash registers and computers
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of English
• B-class driver's license
