RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an engaged and confident nurse for evening and weekend shifts within home care in the Norr district. Here, you will have an independent and varied role where your competence is crucial for the patients' safety and well-being.

As a nurse in municipal home care, you work closely with people in their daily lives, contributing to safe and secure care during the most important hours of the day. You will become part of a competent team where collaboration, responsibility, and care are in focus.

You work evenings and weekends together with colleagues within the municipality's healthcare services. The role is independent and varied, suitable for those who thrive with responsibility and appreciate that no two days are alike.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing both planned and urgent interventions in patients' homes and facilities.
• Making medical assessments on-site and via telephone.
• Providing professional advice and support to patients, relatives, and care staff.
• Managing medications and medical interventions according to prescriptions.
• Responsible for documentation in accordance with current guidelines and legal requirements.
• Working preventively with a focus on safe, secure, and person-centered care.
• Collaborating with colleagues and other professions to create the best possible care effort.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed nurse.
• Have a B driver's license and are accustomed to driving a car.
• Feel confident working independently on urgent interventions and making your own decisions.
• Have good collaboration skills and a professional attitude.
• Communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Have good habits with documentation.

It is an advantage if you have specialized education in district nursing or geriatrics. Experience of municipal healthcare or home care, as well as experience with medical record systems such as Treserva, TES, Lifecare, Pascal, or NPÖ, is preferred.
