Job Description

As a Specialist Trainee in Allergology at Södersjukhuset, you will work at the allergy clinic alongside other specialists and ST-doctors in allergology, our nurses who also have their own clinic activities, and other staff. At the allergy clinic, we handle and investigate patients with airborne allergies, asthma, anaphylaxis, urticaria, and angioedema. We perform food and drug provocation tests and conduct allergen immunotherapy.

The position also includes supervision and teaching of medical students and interns (AT-doctors).

You will receive an individual study plan that includes the necessary frameworks and structured training to achieve the goals outlined in the National Board of Health and Welfare's description of objectives.

Requirements

• Valid medical license.
• Specialist physician in one of the National Board of Health and Welfare's approved basic specialties, as allergology is an additional specialty.
• Very good communication skills in speech and writing.

• Experience in research or pedagogical tasks.
• Specialist competence in pulmonary medicine or an internal medicine specialty.
