Do you want to be part of building something from the ground up? At our client's site in Tyresö, the transport management function is a central part of the operations, responsible for planning and managing the company's fleet of approximately 200 vehicles.

We are now looking for you who want to help shape this function. We are seeking an experienced Transport Manager who takes responsibility from day one and leaves their mark on how the function will operate moving forward. The position is a permanent consultancy assignment with KFX HR-partner, with the possibility of being directly hired by the client upon agreement.

In the role of Transport Manager, you will have an operational and varied daily routine where you are responsible for leading and optimizing the daily flows of the transport operations. This is a role for you who thrive on taking responsibility from day one and want to help build a robust and scalable transport management function with modern working methods and clear processes.

You will also work with:

• Planning, management, and optimization of transports to ensure efficient resource utilization and minimize empty runs.
• Ongoing dialogue with drivers, operations managers, and customers to ensure delivery according to agreements and customer requirements.
• Correct logging and documentation of transports in system support.
• Building and documenting working methods, routines, and processes for the transport management function.
• Identifying and suggesting improvements in planning and operational execution.
• Training and supporting other employees in the function.

We are looking for someone who is structured, communicative, and has a genuine interest in transport logistics and operational management. You are proactive, stress-resistant, and see opportunities where others see obstacles, and you have the experience required to quickly become a natural part of the organization.

We would also appreciate if you have:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in transport management and/or logistics planning.
• Ability to independently optimize transports and plan resource usage.
• Experience with system support for transport planning and logging.
• Experience in building up or structuring a transport management function.
• Knowledge of systems for fleet management and GPS-based transport planning.
• Category B driver's license and fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Salary: Individual salary setting (Unionen Collective Agreement)
