Your Responsibilities As a Technical Preparer, you create 3D-based detailed instructions for operators in production. The instructions specify which parts are to be installed, in what order and manner, as well as the required tools and any consumables. Other tasks include setting up new articles, procedures, and other documentation.

Your responsibility spans the entire manufacturing process – from verifying the manufacturability of design documentation to the final assembled product. In addition to the core production preparation, your responsibilities include:

• Reviewing system design drawings to ensure systems are manufacturable.
• Ensuring all design requirements are met, such as specified tightening torques.
• Cross-functional collaboration with designers, quality engineers, operators, and procurement.

You will join a dynamic team of approximately 20 employees, with a strong focus on preparation using Model Based Design (MBD) in our Delmia system. This places high demands on precision, analytical thinking, and organized work methods. You will serve as the central link between design and production. Knowledge of the business system IFS is desirable, where 3D data is converted into the business system for consumption.

Cross-functional collaboration with design, engineering, and production is a given, where communication and transparency are key to success.

Your Profile To thrive and succeed as a Technical Preparer, we are looking for you who combine technical aptitude with personal qualities that make you a pragmatic key player in the team. We expect you to have a University College (YH) degree or a university degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, or similar.

You have a natural ability to analyze problems and find solutions, even when challenges are complex. You are also a communicative person who can convey technical information clearly and constructively. You understand the importance of collaboration and are skilled at building and maintaining good relationships with other departments to ensure that projects and processes run smoothly.

The position requires you to undergo and pass security clearance according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements. A requirement for the position is good proficiency in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
