In the midst of the ongoing energy transition, Omexom has a strong and established order backlog that drives our growth forward. We need more people! Omexom Rail Project is now looking for several Signal Technicians.

Omexom Rail Project works with railway infrastructure with expertise in signaling, telecommunications, electricity, and overhead line equipment. In our workshop, we manufacture technical houses, kiosks, and cabinets for railways, trams, and subways with high quality and delivery security.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role involves practical and varied work where you participate in the entire implementation process – from installation to commissioning and follow-up. You work independently on contracts for the new construction and reconstruction of electrical, signaling, and telecommunications facilities within the railway sector.

• Installation of signaling systems, including mounting and configuring technical equipment that controls and monitors railway traffic

• New construction and reconstruction of signaling systems in existing and new railway facilities

• Troubleshooting and testing to identify and rectify technical problems

• Collaboration with other technicians and engineers to find working and safe solutions for more complex issues

The work is a traveling service, and working hours are primarily during the day, but since the work is adapted to traffic closures, work in the evenings, nights, and weekends may occur. Furthermore, this is a permanent position, and you report to the Business Unit Manager.

YOUR PROFILE

You have a few years of work experience as a Signal Technician and a certified basic signal training BSG1 – Signal Technical Principles and Fundamentals (BSGS). Furthermore, you have a good understanding of work processes, safety requirements, and technical connections in a railway environment.

You command Swedish fluently in speech and writing and have good knowledge of English and hold a Category B driver's license.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Qualification as a SoS leader (Safety Officer)

• TSM A, E, L, and S protection

• Certified basic signal training, BSG2

• Advanced training in signal technology, SISÄ
