ABOUT THE ROLE

At our company, the machine operator's main task is to handle and transport materials within the production facility. As a machine operator, you play a central role in the logistical chain of raw materials and finished products, where your contribution is crucial to keeping our production processes running.

We are currently looking to strengthen our team with a log truck driver/tractor driver for the Rolling Machinery team at our sawmill in Seskarö. As a log truck driver/tractor driver, your primary task will be to operate our log trucks. You will also have other duties in the area, such as refilling materials, transporting goods and machine parts, assisting other drivers and units, as well as snow clearing and anti-icing during the winter season.

As a machine operator with us, you may also be required to drive other types of trucks and vehicles depending on your competence and suitability. Responsible for daily safety inspections and basic vehicle maintenance is a natural part of the job.

The job is fun, varied, and developmental, and at times demanding due to the high work pace. You will be part of a friendly group of driven colleagues.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, WE WANT YOU TO

• Be available to work two shifts, morning and afternoon
• Have current and verifiable experience from a similar role
• Understand and speak Swedish

IT IS STRONGLY MERITORIOUS FOR THE ROLE TO HAVE

• Experience loading/unloading timber
• Experience as a machine operator in an industrial setting
• Licence for wheel loader (C2 card)
• And/or licence for log truck (C3b card)
• Education in transport, construction, or forestry

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE

• Category B driver's license
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both oral and written

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Permanent employment starting with a 6-month probationary period, start date by agreement. Salary and other terms in accordance with collective agreements (GS/sawmill agreement). Background checks are included as a natural part of this recruitment.
