Are you interested in working with technology where you are involved in the entire development chain? We are now looking for a Systems Engineer for our client in Linköping for a combined role within both rescue systems and pilot flight gear. About the role

You will become part of a team responsible for the development and integration of central basic aircraft systems. The role combines two technical areas:

  • Rescue systems, focusing on ejection seats, oxygen supply, and anti-G systems.
  • Pilot flight gear, including helmets, masks, survival suits, flight suits, and G-suits.

You will work variedly within both areas and be involved in several parallel projects together with your colleagues related to different systems/hardware. The work involves close collaboration with both pilots and suppliers, where you contribute to ensuring that the systems function optimally in demanding and extreme conditions. Your responsibilities As a Systems Engineer, you are involved in the entire product lifecycle, from feasibility study to development and maintenance.

  • In the feasibility study phase, you work with customer requirements, requirement breakdown, and analyses.
  • During the development phase, you collaborate with suppliers, participate in verification and tests that simulate real flight conditions, and ensure that the systems meet technical and operational requirements.
  • In the maintenance phase, you handle operational issues, technical deviations, and contribute to improvements of existing solutions.
  • An important part of the role is also to create and maintain technical documentation, such as system specifications and maintenance manuals.

  • A Bachelor's, University College, or Master's degree in a technical field, e.g., textile engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, technical mathematics, technical physics, information technology, electronic design, design and product development, technical biology, chemical biology, medical technology, or chemical analytical technology.
  • Relevant work experience of at least 1 year after studies, e.g., within the textile industry or control engineering.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

The assignment is classified. Prior to employment, you are required to undergo a security clearance and be approved according to current regulations for security protection.
